Shirt 14” x 11”, oil on canvas (sold) One evening I noticed my shirt hanging on my closet. Normally, my need-to-be-ironed clothes are nothing more than a burden, but in the evening light, the shirt looked alive. Besides, it was a wonderful opportunity to study edges (or lack of) in fabric. A modern-day drapery study became a successful painting. |
